The Voice of Nurses in New Jersey

Legislative action impacts all aspects of healthcare and nursing. As the voice of nurses in New Jersey, NJSNA must stay informed on legislative issues that affect nursing practice, patient care, and the healthcare system. This committee ensures that nurses have a seat at the table when critical policy decisions are made.

Purpose

The committee’s purpose is to monitor, analyze, and respond to legislative issues that impact nurses and healthcare in New Jersey. Members examine proposed laws and regulations, assess their potential effects, and make recommendations to the NJSNA Board to guide advocacy efforts.
