Advocacy in Action
The Interested Nurses Political Action Committee (INPAC) is the nonpartisan political action arm of the New Jersey State Nurses Association (NJSNA). Dedicated to advancing nursing and healthcare excellence in New Jersey, INPAC is led by a Board of Trustees composed of nurses from all regions and specialties.
Purpose
Unlike a lobbying organization, INPAC is the political arm of NJSNA focused on endorsing and supporting candidates who champion nursing and quality healthcare. Elected officials shape nursing practice and healthcare policy, making it essential for nurses to unite and support leaders who advocate for the profession. Politics impact nursing—so nursing must impact politics.
CHAIR of the Interested Nurses Political Action Committee (INPAC)
Advocating for Nurses Through Legislative Action
The INPAC Board of Trustees drive NJSNA’s political advocacy, working to support pro-nursing legislation, engage policymakers, and ensure that nurses' voices are heard in key healthcare decisions at both the state and national levels. Half of the members are appointed by the NJSNA Board of Directors (notstion bolded) and half of the members are elected by INPAC Board of Trustees.
